2020 Annual General Meeting

The Annual General Meeting for the Upper Clutha Children’s Medical Trust was held on the 22nd September 2020.  We have now helped over 320 families in the Upper Clutha area, and are expecting to get very busy in the coming months. During the meeting we thanked and farewelled Yvonne Gale, one of our foundation members, for her many years of service to the Trust.  We will miss Yvonne but wish her the very best.  After our meeting we invited two great supporters for a drink with the Committee.  Firstly, Doug Clarke from Wood for Good, who has donated over $15000 to the Trust from the sale of wood in the area.  Doug and his team source the wood, cut it up and deliver it, then give all proceeds to local charities.  He further surprised us with a donation from Quartz Reef Wines for $500, which they gave to celebrate Doug reaching the $15000 mark.  Many thanks to Quartz Reef for your generosity.  Secondly, Sharyn from Florence’s Foodstore and Cafe who continues to support the Trust on an ongoing basis, unfortunately Sharyn couldn’t make it but we are always grateful for her efforts.  We also thanked Neville Horne who performed an audit on our financial accounts for the year.  We continue to be super grateful to everyone who supports the Trust so that we can continue to help the families of the Upper Clutha area.

Trust Chairman, Dave Evans, thanking Doug Clarke for all of his fundraising efforts during the year.
