Local yoga instructor Shannon Turner, owner of Lions Grace, recently chose the Upper Clutha Children’s Medical Trust as the recipient of her “Flow into Softness” yoga series fundraiser.
Twice a week over five weeks, Shannon led participants through grounding movement and mindful breathing at Wilson and Dorset, who kindly hosted the series. As a result, Shannon and her attendees raised and donated an amazing $1,450 to support local children and families, via our trust.
Through Lions Grace, Shannon offers yoga, fitness, and mindful practices built on connection, empowerment, and grace — helping people navigate life’s changes with strength and confidence. That spirit of care and generosity truly shines through in the way she gives back to our community.
As a Trust, we’re continuing to see growing demand for support in our region. Contributions like Shannon’s help ensure families can access the help they need, when they need it.
A huge, huge thank you to Shannon Turner and to everyone who rolled out their mats for this beautiful cause. Your kindness makes a real difference.
