We are incredibly grateful to the Wheels at Wanaka Charitable Trust for their generous donation of $2,500. This funding will go directly towards supporting local families who are struggling to meet the costs associated with their children’s medical needs. That’s enough for a lot of play therapy appointments, medical tests, medical equipment and more!
This donation is part of an extraordinary total of over $200,000 given by Wheels at Wanaka to grassroots organisations, community groups, and volunteer services across the Upper Clutha. Their fourth and final event was a huge success, drawing more than 65,000 visitors and over 5,000 vehicles, making it the largest all-vehicle show in Australasia. Not only did the event bring people together in a celebration of heritage and machinery, but it also contributed more than $30 million to the local economy. Well done!
We are so grateful to be among the recipients of this remarkable community effort and applaud the trust’s commitment to giving back to the people and causes that help locals in need.
Thank you Wheels at Wanaka for making a real difference
