The Rotary Club of Wānaka has once again demonstrated the power of community generosity through their annual Duck Race fundraiser.
We are incredibly grateful to have been selected as a recipient of the proceeds from the 2025 Corporate Duck Race entries, with a very generous $7,700 donated to the Upper Clutha Children’s Medical Trust. These funds will directly support children and families in our community who are navigating a range of medical-related challenges.
As a Trust, we’re continuing to see growing demand for support in our region – with challenges such as proximity to care and long public waitlists continuing to push up the costs of support for the families involved. Contributions like this one help ensure families can access the help they need, when they need it.
As a much-loved community event, and we think it’s fitting the Duck Race’s success will have such a meaningful impact on local children and whānau.
A sincere thank you to the Rotary Club of Wānaka for your ongoing commitment to our community and for choosing to support the work we do.
