We would like to extend our sincere thanks to the Wānaka Business Chamber and Queenstown Airport Women in Business for their generous support of the Upper Clutha Children’s Medical Trust through the Women in Business Christmas Luncheon. It’s the holiday that keeps on giving!
The luncheon raised an incredible $12,826 for the Trust, all thanks to the generosity of those who attended and the many businesses* that donated auction items. This support will directly assist Upper Clutha families who are facing added financial pressure as a result of their children’s health and developmental needs.
For families in our region, accessing specialist care often involves high fees, travel, accommodation, and time away from home. Donations like this help us provide practical support when it is most needed, ensuring children can access appropriate care without added financial strain.
We are incredibly grateful to the women in business who supported this event, as well as the local and national businesses that contributed so generously. Your willingness to give back reflects a strong and connected business community.
Thank you for helping us support local children and their families. We couldn’t make the difference that we do, without such big-hearted locals like yourselves.
